Distributors of Mitutoyo Asia Pacific visit Sumipol

Mitutoyo Asia Pacific Pte., Ltd. (MAP) in Singapore, the regional office representing Mitutoyo Japan, the world’s leading manufacturer of precision measuring instruments, organized an annual meeting for all authorized  distributors from Asia Pacific 7 countries in Bangkok during 31st May – 2nd June. On this occasion, Mr. Rick Lim, Senior Regional Manager, lead the group to visit Sumipol Co., Ltd., the authorized distributor in Thailand on 31st May, to view Sumipol’s administration and sales  & services process according to ISO 9000 standards. Additionally, various activities are presented including technical trainings & seminars for customers and the tight cooperation with government agencies such as National Institute of Metrology Thailand (NIMT),  Department of Skill Development and Office of Vocational Education Commission to develop skilled labor and their own lecturers such as the skill competition for Vocational Institutes nationwide and Thailand’s World Skill competition. Lastly, Sumipol welcomed all visitors to see repairing & calibration center certified ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited by TISI and modernized warehouse & logistics. Mr. Etsuo Matsunaka, President of MAP, expressed their gratitude on behalf of the visitors to Sumipol.
