The new Carbide Powerful Reamer from Okazaki produced from carbide is designed to solve the above mentioned problems. Its smart design allows it to carry out stock removal at more than twice the rate of conventional carbide reamers, deliver a hight-quality finished surface without chatter marks and reduce cycle time and increase productivity. Additionally, it provides 10 times the tool life of reamers made from HSS.
There are 2 series available; the CPR Series comes with diameters ranging from 3.0 to 12.0 mm., a 0.1 mm. stepping up and an m5 tolerance; and the CPRM Series is available with diameters from 2.95 to 12.05 mm., a 0.1 mm. tolerance. Both resies are suitable for a vaiety of work materials, such as structural steel, carbon steel, cast iron, hardened steel, stainless steel and aluminum alloy. A larger model of BCPR (Top Solid Carbide Powerfuk Reamer) is also available starting from diameter 12.5 mm. to 30.0 mm. (step up 0.5 mm.).
