Features of DA1090
SUMIDIA DA1090 is a new polycrystalline diamond (PCD) material with the highest diamond content available, made by sintering coarse diamond particles at high density.
This superior density and enhanced particle binding strength result in excellent wear and fracture resistance.
1 High density and enhanced particle binding strength exhibit excellent wear and fracture resistance.
2. Wear resistance improved 1.6 times or more
3. Reduces chipping and wear

Remarkable Point of DA1090:

Black: Diamond
White: Binder
- Higher wear resistance by coarse-grain diamond
- Higher chipping resistance by high-content of Diamond and stronger binding
- Adopting ALNEX GB-type for Aluminum and cast iron composite
DA1090 shows higher wear resistance by coarse grain diamond and higher chipping resistance by high-content Diamond and stronger binding.
Remark
*1 Har, brittle material
Materials characterized by high hardness and brittleness, such as cemented carbide, ceramics, quartz glass, zirconia and so on.
*2 PCD (polycrystalline diamond)
A material made by sintering diamond microcrystals together with metal, such as cobalt, at high temperature and high pressure.
